  • How are the artworks packaged?
    The works are packaged by the gallery and follow a standardised packaging process. We confirm the packaging with the artist before shipping and take care to make sure the work is properly protected.
  • How long does delivery take?
    After the payment has been processed, delivery takes 7 days on average, which leaves time for packaging and shipping. This may vary depending on the potential framing of a work and the distance between the Gallery's location and your home. Whatever happens, we will keep you updated.
  • Who takes care of the delivery?
    Depending on the destination and the size of the work, we use delivery companies such as DHL or UPS, or specialist art delivery companies.
  • Which countries do you deliver to?
    We deliver everywhere, or in any case all countries that our delivery companies operate in! Any concerns? Do not hesitate to contact us, as we will be able to find a solution for delivery - even if you live on a desert island!
  • How much does shipping cost?
    Shipping costs are included in the price, regardless of destination.
  • Is the delivery of the artwork insured?
    Absolutely! BelArt Gallery organises and insures the transport of the artwork. You have nothing to worry about and there are no hidden costs.
  • Can I get artworks delivered to a different country or to a different person?
    We will deliver to the address you gave on your order. Generally we set the delivery date with the person who will receive the work and whose name you gave. If it's a surprise or a present, let us know!
  • The work I wanted is no longer available - can I commission a similar work?
    A number of our artists accept commissions so please get in touch if the work you love is no longer available!
  • Is a certificate of authenticity provided?
    All artworks for sale on BelArt Gallery come with a certificate of authenticity that is signed by the artist. Furthermore, all editions (painting, prints, sculptures etc.) are numbered and signed by the artist.
  • Are all the works on BelArt Gallery available for purchase?
    Not always, as sometimes they have already been sold! If the work has been sold, this is indicated on the artwork page. If you are unable to find another work that you love, do not hesitate to get in touch as we can suggest other works by our artists. Some of our artists also accept commissions!
  • Is framing available for all works?
    Absolutely. Some artworks are already framed. If the work is not framed, when you make a purchase, you can let us know that you want the work framed. We will make sure we find the perfect frame for you.
  • How can I check the size of the artwork?
    The dimensions of the work are specified on the artwork page. Any further questions? Please get in touch - we're here to help and we can send you images to give you a better idea of the dimensions of the work.
  • Is the image on the site an accurate representation of the artwork?
    The image is an accurate depiction of the artwork. We can send you additional images on request.
  • How do I buy art on BelArt Gallery?
    To buy an artwork, you have to click on the button "Add to cart" which is found on all artwork pages. You will then be redirected to your Cart. Once you have clicked 'Proceed', we will ask for your details to organise delivery, and then ask you to choose your method of payment (card, Paypal, or for bank transfers). Once the payment has been processed, you will receive confirmation from our payment process.
  • What are the accepted methods of payment?
    All credit and debit cards (Mastercard, Visa, American Express etc.), Paypal and bank transfer.
  • What happens once the payment has been processed?
    Once the payment has been processed, the artwork is reserved for you! We will contact you right away to confirm its availability and delivery times (delivery takes approximately 7 days). Together we will arrange the best day for delivery to the address you provided.
  • When will my credit card be charged?
    When you make an online payment to BelArt Gallery, we receive pre-validation from your bank which confirms that the money is available in your account. Banks generally hold this money in your account until the final part of the payment process, but rules vary. Check with your bank to find out more.
  • Can I cancel my order?
    Of course. Before the work has been shipped, you can cancel your order by email. Once it's been shipped, the cancellation period begins 14 days after delivery. If the work has been shipped, we will only refund you once the work has been returned to the artist in its original condition.
  • Is the image on the site an accurate representation of the artwork?
    The image is an accurate depiction of the artwork. We can send you additional images on request.
  • I've changed my mind or I don't like the artwork anymore... What can I do?
    No problem! You have 14 days after delivery of the work to let us know. We will organise and cover the costs of the return. You will be refunded once the artwork has been returned to the gallery. In the case of returns after cancellation, you are responsible for packaging the work. Some products (limited edition, customized artworks etc) are excluded from the return policy.
  • The artwork was damaged when it arrived. What should I do?
    Contact us as soon as you notice the damage. Take photos to show us the current state of the work and we will make a decision together. According to the extent of the damage, we can either repair the work, or you can return it and you will be refunded. BelArt Gallery covers the costs of repair and transport in case of damage during delivery.
  • How does the refund work?
    You will be refunded after the work has been returned to the artist.
