Architecture of Knowledge evokes an abstract library, constructed like a mental edifice. Books are represented as blocks of memory, pillars of thought, or fragments of narrative, ordered within a silent structure.
Through a play of verticals and horizontals, the artist creates a rhythmic, almost architectural façade. The chromatic variations—between off-whites, rusts, deep browns, beiges, and blue-grays—give the whole a muted vibration, somewhere between warmth and restraint.
The material, worked with a knife, gives the “bindings” a tactile presence. We sense an inner space, a breathing space, in the interstices. This work speaks of knowledge, of course, but also of what is transmitted, buried, silent.
“Architecture of Knowledge” is a pictorial meditation on the book as a place of construction, balance and memory.
