Aket Kubic is a French contemporary artist who developed a passion for drawing at an early age before entering the world of graffiti as a teenager under the name “Aket.” At 27, he transitioned to canvas painting, exploring everyday life through a distinctive cubist-inspired language dominated by black and white tones. In 2021, he created the iconic character “Mr. Tarín,” a caricatural figure symbolizing a French stereotype, which marked his entry into galleries. Deeply attached to Northern France, he embraces muted “colored greys” rather than seductive bright tones, painting what he feels and observes as a “child of brick.” His career gained international recognition, notably after being selected for the global MASTERPIECE campaign by Coca-Cola in 2023.
Since 2023, Aket Kubic has expanded his practice into immersive, multidisciplinary exhibitions combining graffiti, scenography, 3D works, and video, attracting an average of 4,000 visitors per show. His art blends the roots of street art with a reinvented cubist vocabulary, structured around three key moments: the narrative strength of everyday scenes (often ironic and limited in color), the rhythmic interplay of juxtaposed elements, and the emergence of 3D compositions born from this visual alchemy. Through experimental and playful forms, he addresses universal themes of identity, culture, and human relationships, offering collectors a complete and cohesive artistic universe.
