Sophie Dumont, a contemporary French painter known for her work in successive layers of oil paint, unveils with Resonances des contrastes, a composition of great plastic intensity.
The canvas (80 × 80 cm) is structured around an abstract architecture made of dark masses—notably this large black field inhabited at its center by a graphite form—contrasted with warm earth tones, luminous beiges, and bursts of blue.
