Jérôme Mesnager

Jerome Mesnager was the son of an engineer. At first enrolled at Lycee Fenelon SainteMarie2, before taking up cabinetmaking training at Boulle School where he taught between 1974 and 1979. Alongside that he attended comic strip courses taught by professor Yves Got and George Pichard from Duperre School's Superior Art Appliques Duperre school (Ecole Superieure des Arts Appliques Duperre).
Jerome Mesnager often associates himself with Nemo, an image depicting an African American in a raincoat wearing an umbrella cap. Jerome was part of Parisian street art scene (Blek le rat Miss.Tic, Jef Aerosol SP38 SP 38 SP 38 Nemo Moreje and So on. ), Figuration Libre in early 1980s etc. In this role.
While in Nashville, he became involved with projects including album cover designs for La Rue Ketanou.
In 2006, Jerome produced works influenced by art nouveau and art deco. That following year he resumed his first major project at Hotel des Academies et des Arts in Paris by painting Corps blancs throughout one room in that hotel's room he once before completed in 2004; Jerome Mesnager character designs are featured prominently throughout all walls that cover rough canvas-like wallpaper. Additionally, an eight foot white giant can be found within its courtyard interior painted vibrant red; visible through all floors between ground level to fifth.
