Sun7

Born in 1977, Jonas Bournat, better known by his pseudonym Sun7, is a French artist. The son of a resistance fighter father and a psychoanalyst mother, he grew up in an environment conducive to imagination. Open to the world, he traveled across Africa and then the United States, where, at the age of 13, he became captivated by the world of New York graffiti. Following this transformative encounter, Sun7 decided to dedicate his life to creation. Today, he lives and works between Paris and Abidjan in Côte d'Ivoire. He continues to actively travel to carry out his projects. Sun7 doesn't hesitate to engage with different artistic scenes and actively draws inspiration from these encounters in various social and cultural spaces. In his work, one can discern various cultural influences, reflecting his globetrotting activities.
